Cross-tenant worker modification and disconnection via unchecked UUID
Published Aug 28, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026
Authorization bypass in Hatchet 0.40.0 through 0.91.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter or disconnect other tenants’ workers. UpsertWorkerLabels and Unsubscribe accept a request-body worker UUID and mutate or remove that worker without checking ownership against the token tenant. Exploitation requires a tenant owner token, a guessed foreign worker UUID, and a multi-tenant instance; it changes affinity labels or interrupts that worker.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
