CVE-2026-54723Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Unauthenticated database disclosure via absent replica identity check

Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026

Information disclosure in devpi 6.20.1 and earlier and 7.0.0b1 through 7.0.0b2 allows remote attackers to read complete server database content. The verify_primary check accepts a missing identity on +changelog instead of requiring ReplicaIdentity, so a modified GET returns replication data. Exposure requires the primary or deprecated master role; standalone servers are unaffected, while large responses can also consume significant CPU, I/O, and bandwidth.
