Unauthenticated file disclosure via unchecked bulk downloads
Published Jul 28, 2026 · Updated Jul 28, 2026
Authorization bypass in goshs before 2.1.1 allows remote attackers to read ACL-protected files through the bulk ZIP route. The bulkDownload handler sanitizes each requested path but reaches ZIP streaming before findEffectiveACL, applyCustomAuth, or block-list enforcement. Exposure requires reliance on per-folder .goshs ACLs without server-wide basic authentication; the bypass discloses file contents but cannot modify or delete them.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
