XSS via unescaped RelayState in SAML auto-submit form
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
Reflected XSS in Logto before 1.41.0 allows remote attackers to execute script on the tenant origin through a crafted SAML login. The generateAutoSubmitForm() function places RelayState, SAMLResponse, and actionUrl into HTML attributes without escaping them. Execution requires a configured SAML application and a user who completes login, after which injected script can act in that user's Logto session.
