Authenticated PHP execution via unsafe source inclusion
Published Sep 28, 2026 · Updated Sep 28, 2026
Code injection in FreePBX Superfecta before 16.0.40 or 17.0.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP on the server. The AJAX handler's options and save_options cases include files from the sources directory using user-controlled input without restricting the selected path. Exploitation requires a known username and a way to create a directory and upload a PHP file; the code runs with the web server user's privileges.
