Authenticated row inference via computed-field predicate oracle
Published Jul 7, 2026 · Updated Jul 7, 2026
Authorization bypass in Hasura GraphQL Engine 2.45.0 through 2.45.4 and 2.46.0 through 2.49.1 allows remote authenticated users to infer hidden rows. The computed-field boolean-expression path omits the returned table's row-level select filter, so attacker-controlled where predicates expose a value oracle. Exploitation requires a PostgreSQL-family source, a SETOF table computed field, restrictive row permissions, and a queryable role; the consequence is indirect, read-only disclosure.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
