Missing authorization in Pipecat before 1.4.0 allows remote attackers to terminate active telephony calls through an exposed runner. The unauthenticated /ws handler copies a caller-controlled callSid into TwilioFrameSerializer, which uses the operator's credentials to send a hang-up request; Telnyx and Plivo follow the same pattern. Exploitation requires provider credentials, a reachable runner, and a valid call-control identifier, and the bounded consequence is interruption of the identified call.
