Metadata disclosure via unfiltered search querysets
Published Oct 16, 2026 · Updated Oct 16, 2026
Authorization bypass in Open Zaak search APIs allows remote authenticated users to read restricted case and document metadata. ListFilterByAuthorizationsMixin.get_queryset applies authorization filtering only to the list action, leaving POST searches at /zaken/api/v1/zaken/_zoek and /documenten/api/v1/enkelvoudiginformatieobjecten/_zoek unrestricted by the token's authorized types or confidentiality levels. A valid zaken.lezen or documenten.lezen token is required; document searches also require known UUIDs, and document downloads remain separately authorized.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=>= 1.0.0, < 1.27.2
