CVE-2026-54621

Python code execution via carriage-return comment escape

Published Jul 28, 2026 · Updated Jul 28, 2026

Code injection in koxudaxi datamodel-code-generator 0.25.0 through 0.60.0 allows attackers to execute Python via a crafted GraphQL schema. The Union templates insert description text into Python comments after replacing only line feeds, so a bare carriage return ends the comment and exposes the remaining text as module-level code. Exploitation requires a victim to generate models from attacker-controlled GraphQL and then import the output; injected code runs with the importing process's privileges.
