Authenticated PHP code execution via path traversal
Published Sep 17, 2026 · Updated Sep 17, 2026
Path traversal in Vvveb 1.0.0 through 1.0.8.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP through a crafted global element. saveGlobalElements() in admin/controller/editor/global-trait.php concatenates the data-v-save-global file value to the theme directory before loading and rewriting the resulting path. The default Editor role's editor/* permission reaches the save action, allowing overwrite of a web-accessible PHP file and persistent webshell execution in the web server context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
