Unauthenticated credential disclosure via unchecked adInfo response
Published Oct 14, 2026 · Updated Oct 14, 2026
Credential disclosure in FOG adInfo() before 1.5.10.1870 allows remote attackers to read the Active Directory join password. The method in packages/web/lib/fog/fogpage.class.php returns FOG_AD_DEFAULT_PASSWORD in the domainpass JSON field without authorization, while management routing permits unauthenticated node=ipxe dispatch. Exposure requires a configured nonempty default password and network access to management; the endpoint discloses credentials without directly modifying data or interrupting service.
