Arbitrary file write via unvalidated pack target paths

Path traversal in IzPack 5.2.6 and earlier allows remote attackers to write files outside the installation directory through a malicious installer. UnpackerBase.unpack() passes an attacker-controlled PackFile targetPath through IoHelper.translatePath(), which only swaps separators, then creates a File without normalizing parent segments or enforcing destination containment. The attack requires a victim to run the trojanized installer, and writes are limited to paths accessible with that victim's privileges.
