Unauthenticated SSRF via unrestricted image URL fetch
Published Sep 15, 2026 · Updated Sep 15, 2026
Server-side request forgery in Pipeboard Meta Ads MCP before 1.0.115 allows remote attackers to reach internal HTTP services. The upload_ad_image tool sends its image_url argument through redirect-following httpx clients without validating the URL scheme, hostname, or resolved address. A streamable-http endpoint accepts any non-empty bearer value before the fetch, enabling internal data reads, state-changing requests, or service disruption.
