Authenticated disclosure via unchecked basemap URL fetching
Published Sep 17, 2026 · Updated Sep 17, 2026
SSRF in CloudTAK before 13.22.1 allows remote authenticated users to read internal HTTP data via crafted basemap import URLs. The importBasemapURL() function in api/routes/basemap.ts fetches supplied URLs without checking resolved addresses or redirect destinations and reflects selected JSON fields to the caller. Any authenticated account reaches this path; disclosure depends on services reachable from the API server and response fields accepted by the importer.
