Unauthenticated account manipulation via forged encrypted identifiers
Published Jul 30, 2026 · Updated Jul 30, 2026
Authentication bypass in Gladinet CentreStack before 17.2 allows remote attackers to read, write, or delete arbitrary account settings. The exposed API endpoints omit authorization checks, while a static shared encryption key lets forged EntAcctId values represent any user GUID. No credentials or user interaction are required; forged cluster-settings identifiers expose tenant domains and administrator identities and permit settings changes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
