Authenticated file access via SFTP path traversal
Published Aug 17, 2026 · Updated Aug 18, 2026
Path traversal in JumpServer KoKo 4.8.0 through 4.10.16 allows remote authenticated users to access files beyond an asset's SFTP root. AssetDir.GetRealPath() joins crafted paths without first normalizing them and confirming that the result remains beneath the configured root. Exploitation requires SFTP permission to the asset and permits read, list, write, rename, or delete operations only as its configured backend account.
