CVE-2026-54325

Code execution via unapproved project-local extensions

Published Jun 23, 2026 · Updated Jun 23, 2026

Code execution in Earendil Inc. Pi before 0.79.0 allows attackers to run code when a user starts Pi in a crafted repository. Startup places executable TypeScript or JavaScript modules from the repository's .pi directory into the extension set and initializes them without a project trust decision. Exploitation requires user interaction, and the code receives the Pi process user's access to files, environment variables, credentials, network, and local tools.
