Cross-tenant organization takeover via unverified invitation email
Published Jun 23, 2026 · Updated Jun 23, 2026
Improper authentication in Daytona before 0.184.0 allows remote authenticated users to join another organization via a pending invitation. The invitation accept path compares the token email with the invitation address but fails to require the token's email-verification claim. Exploitation requires a known pending invitation and an identity provider that issues sessions before verification; the invitation's assigned role grants access up to Owner.
