Reflected XSS via unsanitized verification query parameter
Published Jun 23, 2026 · Updated Jun 23, 2026
Reflected XSS in n8n before 2.24.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in the n8n origin via a crafted verification URL. Meta and Microsoft Teams trigger endpoints copy a query parameter into the HTTP response without sanitization or Content-Security-Policy protection. Exploitation requires an affected trigger workflow and a logged-in user to visit the crafted URL, exposing data and actions available to that browser session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
