Denial of service in Google Angular allows remote attackers to crash SSR applications via crafted date format strings. The formatDate parser and DatePipe iteratively split an unbounded attacker-controlled format through a regular-expression loop, consuming CPU and heap memory. Exploitation requires untrusted control of the format argument; SSR processes can crash, while client-side browser tabs can freeze.
