Spreadsheet formula execution via unescaped export values
Published Jul 17, 2026 · Updated Jul 17, 2026
CSV formula injection in Statamic CMS before 5.73.24 and 6.0.0 through 6.20.0 allows remote attackers to execute spreadsheet formulas. CsvExporter.php writes untrusted form values through League CSV without registering a formula-escaping formatter for trigger characters. Anonymous front-end submission is sufficient, but execution requires a Control Panel user to export and open the CSV; effects are confined to the spreadsheet and data already authorized for that user.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
