Authenticated server crash via oversized form parameters
Published Aug 7, 2026 · Updated Aug 7, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in TeamDavid WebBox through Rollout 524 allows remote authenticated users to crash the server via crafted form data. The //serverClient_close.html handler accepts oversized ATCTOLINE, ATCCCLINE, or numberCount values, corrupting the stack until the /GS cookie check terminates the process. An authenticated session is required; remote code execution remains unproven and depends on a favorable stack state or disclosure of the stack canary.
