NTLM credential exposure via unvalidated UNC paths
Published Aug 7, 2026 · Updated Aug 7, 2026
SSRF in TeamDavid Webbox through Rollout 524 allows remote authenticated users to expose NTLM authentication data through SMB. The !ArcEntryMove handler accepts the pathname parameter as a server-side file path and resolves attacker-supplied UNC locations without validation. Exploitation requires a valid account and outbound TCP port 445 access, allowing NetNTLM hash capture or SMB relay against an attacker-controlled endpoint.
