Authenticated folder creation via unvalidated archive paths
Published Aug 7, 2026 · Updated Aug 7, 2026
Path traversal in TeamDavid Webbox through Rollout 524 allows remote authenticated users to create folders in arbitrary server locations. The archive-creation handler accepts a user-controlled archive path without constraining it to the intended directory tree. A valid account and network access to Webbox are required; traversal sequences can create folders in Windows system paths or another user's private directories.
