CVE-2026-54183Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Authenticated UI secret exposure via recursion cutoff

Published Aug 12, 2026 · Updated Aug 12, 2026

Information disclosure in Apache Airflow before 3.3.1 allows remote authenticated users to view unmasked secrets in the Variables UI. The secrets masker stops descending into lists, tuples, and sets beyond MAX_RECURSION_DEPTH, returning values under sensitive key names without key-name redaction. Exposure requires authenticated UI access and is limited to shoulder-surfing risk because the same user can already read the Variable through the REST API.
