Stored XSS via inverted color-column escaping
Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026
Stored XSS in Backpack CRUD 6.0.0 through 6.8.13 and 7.0.0 through 7.0.37 allows remote authenticated users to execute browser scripts. The color-column Blade template treats the default escaped setting as raw output and inserts stored column text without HTML escaping. Exploitation requires control of an unsanitized color value and a victim viewing the CRUD list, exposing that victim's session-backed application capabilities.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
