Authenticated command execution via unchecked MCP transport
Published Jul 10, 2026 · Updated Jul 10, 2026
OS command injection in FIT2CLOUD MaxKB before 2.10.0-lts allows remote authenticated users to execute system commands via MCP tool import. Import.import_ stores a tool's stdio transport without calling validate_mcp_transport, and the AI Chat referencing branch passes it to MultiServerMCPClient for subprocess execution. Any MaxKB account can reach the chain; commands run with the server process's privileges and can compromise the host.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
