Private-key disclosure via exposed Web API configuration
Published Apr 2, 2026 · Updated Apr 2, 2026
Information disclosure in Newgen OmniDocs 12.0 allows remote attackers to read an RSA private key through GetWebApiConfiguration. The /omnidocs/GetWebApiConfiguration endpoint processes a manipulated connectionDetails value and returns Web API configuration containing the application key. No authentication or user interaction is required, but successful retrieval has high attack complexity and the published impact is limited to confidentiality.
