Denial of service in Windows Kernel in Microsoft Windows allows remote attackers to interrupt service via network traffic. Microsoft describes the flaw only as unthrottled resource allocation in the kernel and has not published the affected RPC routine, request pattern, or other code-level trigger that consumes resources until service becomes unavailable. Exposure requires network reachability to the vulnerable Windows service, and the published assessment bounds the impact to availability with no public indication of code execution, privilege gain, or data access.
