Stored XSS via inline browser-executable file uploads
Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026
Stored XSS in EasyCorp EasyAdminBundle 5.0.0 through 5.0.12 allows remote authenticated users to run script via uploaded HTML or SVG. FileField applies no MIME or extension restrictions, while ImageField accepts SVG, and the file template links uploads for same-origin inline rendering. Exploitation requires a public upload directory, access to an affected form, and a higher-privileged administrator to open the file, exposing session or CSRF tokens and enabling privilege escalation.
