Denial of service in veraPDF-parser before 1.30.2 and 1.31.1 through 1.31.22 allows remote attackers to abort PDF validation. Type1FontProgram dispatches attacker-controlled Type 1 font tokens to array, for, and recursive dictionary operations without allocation, iteration, or recursion limits. Reachability requires validation of an attacker-supplied PDF; one font stream can exhaust heap memory, spin CPU indefinitely, or overflow the JVM stack and abort the worker.
