Unauthenticated file read via double-decoded asset paths
Published Jun 24, 2026 · Updated Jun 24, 2026
Path traversal in SiYuan before 3.7.0 allows remote attackers to read workspace files through the publish-mode asset route. The /assets/*path handler decodes encoded traversal segments twice, joins them outside DataDir, and then permits the resolved path without applying the sensitive-path check. Publish mode must be enabled; anonymous requests can expose configuration secrets, database content, and logs within WorkspaceDir.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
