Authenticated internal data access via unchecked redirects
Published Jun 23, 2026 · Updated Jun 23, 2026
SSRF in Open WebUI before 0.9.6 allows remote authenticated users to read internal services through a crafted web-loader URL. SafePlaywrightURLLoader validates only the initial URL before page.goto follows HTTP redirects, so redirected private or link-local destinations are never rechecked. Low-privileged access to the Playwright-backed Web Search or URL Loader is required; exposed data can include internal tools, containers, or cloud metadata.
