CVE-2026-5394Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrative schema modification via unquoted index columns

Published Apr 27, 2026 · Updated Apr 27, 2026

SQL injection in Pimcore 12.3.3 allows remote authenticated users with administrative access to modify backend object-table schemas. Class-definition import and save flows accept compositeIndices.index_columns from JSON, then CompositeIndexTrait::updateCompositeIndices() interpolates those values unquoted into an ALTER TABLE ADD INDEX statement executed through Doctrine DBAL. Administrative permission to import or save DataObject class definitions is required; injected DDL can drop columns, corrupt stored-object behavior, or interrupt the service.
