Stored XSS via dropped attachment headers
Published Jun 23, 2026 · Updated Jun 23, 2026
Stored XSS in NocoDB before 2026.05.1 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts through inline-rendered secure attachments. The signed attachment handler writes response overrides under PascalCase keys, but the serving controller reads lowercase-hyphen keys and drops the attachment disposition. Exploitation requires upload permission, NC_SECURE_ATTACHMENTS=true, and a victim opening the file; the resulting script can read the authentication JWT from localStorage.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
