Cookie injection via cross-origin PDF redirects
Published Jun 16, 2026 · Updated Jun 16, 2026
Cookie injection in TemporaryDocument in Mozilla Firefox for iOS before 152.0 allows remote attackers to inject cookies via a PDF link. TemporaryDocument carries cookies from the initial PDF request across a cross-origin HTTP redirect instead of isolating them by origin. Exploitation requires a user to open an attacker-controlled PDF link; the injected cookies then accompany requests to an unrelated target domain.
