Account lockout via unverified registration and deletion
Published Jun 12, 2026 · Updated Jun 12, 2026
Denial of service in Capgo before 12.128.2 allows remote attackers to block an email owner from registering for 30 days. Account creation reserves any supplied email without ownership verification, and deletion then marks the unverified account as pending deletion. No control of the targeted mailbox is required; registration, password reset, login, and dashboard access remain blocked unless support restores the account.
