Missing authorization in OpenClaw before 2026.5.12 allows remote authenticated users to execute unapproved shell content. The shell inline-command parser routes certain inline forms through a case that does not receive the expected allowlist decision, so execution proceeds without the intended approval prompt. Reachability requires the affected feature to be enabled and accessible to a lower-trust authenticated Gateway operator; impact is limited by configured policy and sandbox boundaries.
