Unintended agent processing via ignored reaction setting
Published Jun 16, 2026 · Updated Jun 16, 2026
Authorization bypass in OpenClaw before 2026.5.12 allows remote attackers to trigger agent processing through Slack reactions. The Slack reaction-event handler forwards events from the configured app into the agent pipeline without honoring the disabled reaction-notification setting. The Slack reaction feature must be enabled and reachable, and practical integrity impact depends on whether lower-trust input can reach that path and on the operator's configuration.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
