CVE-2026-53841Network attack vector

Browser script execution via unsafe exported links

Published Jun 16, 2026 · Updated Jun 16, 2026

Cross-site scripting in OpenClaw before 2026.5.12 allows remote attackers to execute browser-side script through exported session HTML. The session exporter preserves untrusted Markdown links with javascript: or data: schemes in generated HTML instead of filtering unsafe protocols. Exploitation requires lower-trust content to reach the enabled export feature and a trusted operator to open the file and activate the link.
