Authentication-material disclosure via hostname prefix matching
Published Jun 12, 2026 · Updated Jun 12, 2026
Hostname validation in OpenClaw before 2026.5.7 allows remote authenticated users to disclose authentication material via retry endpoint URLs. The trusted retry endpoint check accepts a lower-trust hostname when it begins with the trusted hostname instead of requiring an exact host match. Exploitation requires the affected feature to be enabled and reachable by lower-trust input, and the disclosed data is limited to authentication material sent during retry.
