CVE-2026-53813

Arbitrary artifact loading via fake package root

Published Jun 11, 2026 · Updated Jun 11, 2026

Path traversal in memory-core artifact loading in OpenClaw before 2026.4.25 allows local users to load artifacts from unintended locations. A workspace-influenced package-root resolution path selects a fake local package root instead of the intended bundled artifact root. The feature must be enabled and reachable from a lower-trust workspace; successful exploitation exposes sensitive data or executes malicious code in the OpenClaw process.
