Authorization bypass via prematurely trusted Telegram callbacks
Published Jun 11, 2026 · Updated Jun 11, 2026
Incorrect authorization in OpenClaw before 2026.5.6 allows remote authenticated users to trigger restricted Telegram commands. Telegram interactive callback handling marks the callback sender as authorized before applying commands.allowFrom, so the later allowlist check is skipped. Exploitation requires an enabled and reachable affected callback; resulting command behavior can run outside configured Telegram sender restrictions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
