Credential disclosure via unprotected clear-text fields
Published Apr 7, 2026 · Updated Apr 7, 2026
Clear-text credential exposure in runZero Platform before 4.0.260204.2 allows remote attackers to read selected secrets. runZero has not disclosed which credential-handling locus renders or returns these fields without sufficient protection. Exploitation requires user interaction and a man-in-the-middle position between the console and a remote API endpoint; the exposed secrets can enable initial access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
