Unauthorized file access via unconstrained path resolution

Path confinement bypass in Rsync Project rsync 3.4.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to read or write files outside a transfer root. The generator, receiver, and pull-client delta-basis logic resolve symlinked parent components or peer-controlled xname paths without enforcing the inner-module or destination boundary. Exploitation requires a chrooted /./ inner module with a controllable parent symlink, or a malicious server supplying a crafted xname during a pull.
