Administrator-context script execution via unescaped republish notice
Published Jun 10, 2026 · Updated Jun 10, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Yoast Duplicate Post 4.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script via a crafted post title. The Classic Editor scheduled-republish notice inserts the copied post's title and permalink into its HTML without context-appropriate escaping. An account able to schedule a Rewrite & Republish copy must supply the title, and an administrator must view the notice; script then runs in that administrator's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
