Reflected XSS via unvalidated anchor URL schemes
Published Jun 12, 2026 · Updated Jun 12, 2026
Cross-site scripting in Nuxt 3.0.0 through 3.21.6 and 4.0.0 through 4.4.6 allows remote attackers to execute script via crafted NuxtLink URLs. NuxtLink treats any value with a recognized protocol as external, then writes its to or href prop directly to an anchor href without rejecting script-capable schemes. Exploitation requires an application to bind attacker-controlled input to the component and a user to click the rendered link, which runs script in the application origin.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
