Database access via unsanitized login username
Published Apr 2, 2026 · Updated Apr 2, 2026
SQL injection in Projectworlds Car Rental Project 1.0 allows remote attackers to access and alter database data through the login form. The /login.php handler inserts the POST uname value directly into an SQL query without validation, enabling boolean- and time-based blind injection. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the published proof of concept demonstrates database enumeration with sqlmap.
