CVE-2026-53649Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Remote code execution via cross-origin plugin upload

Published Sep 2, 2026 · Updated Sep 2, 2026

Cross-site request forgery in Bishop Fox Joro before 1.1.1 allows remote attackers to execute code through its loopback API. In default proxy mode, the API accepts unauthenticated multipart plugin uploads under wildcard CORS, then plugin.Open executes uploaded init functions after a restart. Exploitation requires an operator on Linux or macOS to visit an attacker-controlled page, and the resulting code runs with the operator's privileges.
