CVE-2026-53648Network attack vector

File overwrite via filename-derived storage collisions

Published Jul 6, 2026 · Updated Jul 6, 2026

File overwrite in FOSSBilling 0.1.0 through 0.8.0 allows remote authenticated users to replace downloads via filename collisions. The downloadable service hashes only the client-supplied original filename with MD5 and uses that global path for both storage and retrieval. Administrative access with servicedownloadable.manage is required; a later colliding upload replaces the earlier file and can expose it to the wrong customers.
